Lottery Now Open!
Thanks to the incredible response to our recent retreats, we’re now using a lottery system to keep things smooth, fair, and glitch-free. 50% of spots will go to returning guest and 50% will go to newcomers.
HOW IT WORKS:
Fill out your application with your basic info, room preferences, and if you’re booking with someone. Entries close at 11:59 PM PT on Friday, January 9.
If selected, you’ll get a personal email from us by Monday, January 12 with a private booking link. You’ll have until 11:59 PM PT on Wednesday, January 14 to claim your spot before we move on to the next name.

3-Night Stay: There are different price points depending on your room/bed configuration.

All Meals Included - A total of 3 dinners, 3 breakfasts, and 2 lunches. Snacks and non-alcohol beverages will be provided throughout the weekend as well. We will be sure to coordinate with guests regarding food allergies and preferences.

Our retreat book club pick will be mailed to you in advance (or sent to your Kindle).

Pre-planned excursions, games, and group activities (see more details below) to connect with attendees. But don’t worry - there will be plenty of reading time!

We’ll create a WhatsApp group chat so everyone can get to know each other before the trip, as well as host a Zoom call about 2 weeks before.

House Details
Welcome to The Opal House, our Nashville home base for the weekend and a true standout from the moment you arrive. This gorgeous countryside escape blends chic Southern charm with plenty of space to spread out, lounge, and live your best retreat life. Inside, there are two inviting living rooms made for reading marathons, cozy chats, and quiet moments with your latest romance in hand. Light-filled, stylish, and effortlessly comfortable, every corner of this house feels designed for slowing down and soaking it all in.
The interiors are fun, feminine, and full of personality, creating spaces that instantly put you in a good mood and make you want to stay in your pajamas just a little longer. Outside, sunny afternoons by the pool turn into late-night soaks in the hot tub under the stars. It’s the kind of home that makes you forget about real life for a bit! And when we’re ready to head into Nashville for our bookish adventures, the city is just a short drive away.

Nashville’s indie bookstore scene is next-level, and we plan to experience it in true Boutique Book Retreat fashion! We will plan an exclusive bookish experience (past examples: bookstore sip & shop on a party bus, dinner in a bookstore etc.)

Structured discussion for our Retreat Book Pick where we dive into it together! Come prepared with all your thoughts, opinions, and hot takes. We will provide the good vibes and freshly baked cinnamon rolls. We will even schedule a Zoom call (or in-person chat, details TBD) with a romance author!

Bring a $25 bookish themed gift to participate in a gift exchange game.

We’ll have an assortment of crafts in our craft cart for you to enjoy at any time. This may include friendship bracelet making, book cover bedazzling, cozy coloring books, vision board crafting, etc.

Trivia (with prizes!), Book Boo Powerpoint Presentation Party, Bookish Card Games, etc.

There will be plenty of time to sit back, relax, and dive into your latest read. This is, after all, a reading retreat and you’ll have open-ended time to cozy up in your favorite corner of this beautiful house.

For an added fee, we can organize additional activities such as morning yoga, tarot card readings, guided crafting classes, etc. More details to come!
